Automotive Lighting Specialists – It all started in 2011

Our founding Director Chris Eardley; already well established as one of the key automotive lighting specialists. Realised that there is a better way to do automotive lighting, so now that’s what we do!

We started our consultancy to help our customers get the products they need, and their end users ultimately deserve. Shortly after starting the development and creation of prototypes was needed proving that our innovative and dynamic solutions are feasible and have real world application.

This has been clearly recognised by our customers because right now, we’ve been a leading automotive lighting manufacturer for over 12 months!

Our work here translates to a multitude of applications and we are keen to share our knowledge with other industries. Having worked on projects already with the automotive, medical, marine and domestic technology sectors. Chris Eardley
Company Director

With over 15 years of expertise in the Lighting Industry, Chris worked extensively in Germany having held roles with Hella, Ford & Audi AG. He has been responsible for the launch of multiple vehicles and clearly understands the process of taking a concept through to a functional part on a vehicle. He has supported as a supplier and also as the OEM so he can relate to the process pains on both sides

Chris provides the overview and vision of the bigger picture in the industry yet to achieve and deliver great solutions to the clients – the core team in place are the key to success.
Utilising his expertise in interior lighting he is very passionate about providing premium lighting solutions to each and every client. He has steadily built a reputation for delivering best-in-class solutions for many customers in Europe. One of his key strengths is developing completely new concepts and designs. Fluent in German & English with a Stoke-on-Trent Dialect

Tham Nyoni
Lead Engineer

Graduated with an Automotive Engineering Degree from Coventry University. Tham Joined lighting Consultants as a Design engineer in 2013, supported the lighting team at Bentley Motors and TaTa motors as a resident engineer. Knowledge of plastics and tooling feasibility, able to take projects from concept to a tool ready status. He is fully competent in using Catia V5 & SPEOS. He is also responsible for our ISO:9001 Data management control. Tham is fluent is Ndebele, Shona and English.

Yannick Gouedard
Lighting Specialist

Yannick holds a graduate degree as Engineer in Physics. He has over 15 years of experience in the Lighting Industry, first working at OPTIS for 7 years, becoming an expert in lighting simulation. He is a First user of SPEOS in CATIA and a trainer on OPTIS solutions worldwide.

Worked in Germany: Hella, Automotive Interior Lighting as optical expert; in Switzerland: Regent, General Lighting as Head of the Measuring Lab; and in Greece where he worked in General Lighting. Joining TLC in 2011 he is responsible for CAD Design, Optics Design (Light Guides, Reflectors) and Lighting Analysis. Fluent in French, Greek and English.

Andy Medcalf
Research and Sourcing

Graduated at degree level in Business, Strategy and Management and joined Lighting Consultants in 2015. Manages supply chain and product deliveries to clients.

Kayleigh Brazier

Kayleigh is an experienced office management professional. With over a decade of PA and Office Management experience.

Prior to joining TLC, Kayleigh has worked within the automotive, manufacturing and debt collection industry, as well as working in facilities management at the BBC.

Kayleigh also has vast experience and knowledge of government grants and funds available to drive the business forward.
